The Local Area

Our cottages are located on a beautiful working farm in the countryside near Malmesbury, Wiltshire. We’re just a stone’s throw from the eastern fringe of the Cotswold Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and perfectly placed for couples who love both town and country days out.

Lawn Farm is just 10 minutes’ drive from the M4, and 5 minutes’ drive from the pretty town of Malmesbury. Here you’ll find a Waitrose supermarket, perfect for spoiling yourself on holiday, two Co-ops and a range of restaurants, cafes and pubs. There’s also the 12th-century Malmesbury Abbey and 5 acres of stunning gardens to explore.

A short drive west takes you into the Cotswolds AONB and everything it has to offer. Long walks meandering through pretty villages and sublime countryside, a pit stop at one of the myriad pubs, a visit to a farm shop to snap up some local produce and maybe a visit to a local attraction? We’re spoilt for choice with Castle Combe Circuit, Westonbirt Arboretum, the Cotswold Water Park and Badminton Horse Trials all nearby. Our large yard is locked at night and is covered by our CCTV, so we are the perfect choice for drivers and car owners who require overnight accommodation when racing at Castle Combe Circuit.

The famous spa town of Bath is just 40 minutes’ drive south from Lawn Farm, where you can watch Bath play premiership rugby at ‘The Rec’, explore both big brand and independent shops and visit the Roman Baths. A little further afield to the north west are the historic towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester, with an iconic National Hunt racecourse and premiership rugby team respectively.

Lawn Farm is just 5 minutes’ drive from Dyson’s Malmesbury Campus, so our cottages are ideal for an overnight or short break rental option for workers and visitors to the site.
